(1) – one – Portable 6’ 4” diameter x 37’ long Dual Drum Rotary Trommel Scrubber-Screen for Gold, Lead & Precious Minerals Recovery, 30 h.p. vary-speed rubber tire drive, CAT track roller supports, dual drum design, OUTER DRUM is 6’ 4” diameter x 37’ long with full length counter flow ½” thick steel spirals that transition from 1¾” deep to ½” deep at the discharge point; INNER DRUM is 42” diameter with a 24’ long solid steel scrubber section, to 8’ long (two 48” sections) of wire screen mesh, then 6’ 6” long solid steel discharge section. Designed for conveyor feed to the inner drum at the elevated side. Feed material is washed and pre-conditioned in the 24’ scrubber section, fines with heavy minerals / metals pass through the screen section to the outer drum with wash water where specific gravity separation occurs. Heavy minerals / metals displace the lighter aggregate & clay materials and drop to the bottom of the spirals, aggregate & clay materials gravity flow towards the back, heavy minerals / metals are caught in the counter flow spirals and carried towards the front. Inner drum oversize material discharges straight off the back; Outer drum tailings discharge off the back to a side discharge chute; the recovered heavy minerals / metals captured in the outer drum counter flow spirals discharge off the upper feed end to a side chute. All mounted on a tandem axle portable chassis. Built new in 2011. Originally used for Placer Gold recovery – then used for gun shooting range soil cleanup projects recovering lead shot. Previous operator said they ran +/- 70 cubic yards per hour with this machine.
