Portec-Kolberg 44” diameter x 32’ long TWIN SPIRAL Sand Screw Washer complete with two 20 h.p. 1800 RPM electric motors, V-belt drive with drive guards, Dodge TXT #8 oil bath lubricated shaft mounted gear reduction boxes, grease lubricated external roller bearing assemblies at lower end of tub, bolt on replaceable abrasion resistant urethane wear shoes, bolt on tub extensions with adjustable height waste water spill over weirs, rising current feature in reservoir section of tub, discharge chute, feed baffle. Factory rated at up to 350 tons per hour; Weight: 35,000 lbs; Mdl 5044-32T; S/N 400719. Date of Mfr. 1998.

Condition: Good components – Fair to poor Tub. Drive components, bearings, wear shoes, and flights are good. One shaft wore thin and was successfully repaired-reinforced with angle iron. Tub floor has some steel liners where needed. Center curved floor rising current section is corroded and worn through in some areas. Running when taken out of service in early 2025.
